SmartColor AI is the world’s first integrated color control system for a flexographic line, powered by artificial intelligence. The system enables continuous measurement, analysis, and automatic color correction in real time, without interrupting production. The machine uses a “learning settings” system in conjunction with an AVT camera and an X-rite/PANTONE photo spectrometer. After a job is approved, it saves the station parameters (register, pressures, ink, drying, speeds) and then automatically restores them for subsequent print runs.

Practical example:
A job is prepared by the most experienced printer → approved by the client → entered into the database → Subsequent productions are retrieved from the library, and the machine automatically adjusts itself, and the print colors (provided the same tools are used: plates, anilox rolls, inks, cylinders) are identical. If the machine determines it cannot achieve the specified parameters, it will stop the process and indicate areas for correction instead of “fighting” the error in the background.
