The perfectly fitting mesh for all rotary screen printing presses – RotaMesh is an excellent alternative for users of woven screen material. It’s strong, stable and offers a long working life. RotaMesh® screen material: high stability and long-lasting
RotaMesh® screens with a hexagonal ‘honeycomb’ structure give high stability and are long-lasting. A life- span approaching 500,000 linear meters of printed substrate is not uncommon, which translates into fewer changeovers and therefore increased press uptime. It also makes RotaMesh® screens ideal for repeat orders. It is even possible to re-engrave one screen over 15 times for different jobs, which means outstanding long- term cost savings.
Benefits
Long lifetime
Unlike all other screen materials, RotaMesh® is a solid nickel sheet with a honeycomb grid of round mesh openings and a non-woven mesh. It has the same, unique, hexa- gonal structure as SPGPrints’ RotaPlate®, a material renowned for its long lifetime.
Extremely sturdy
Any experienced screen maker will recognise immediately that RotaMesh® is an extremely sturdy and stable material that is built to withstand manual handling, thus resulting in less remakes.
Less downtime
RotaMesh® is very resistant to wrinkling and, unlike woven materials, virtually never breaks or gets damaged during press set-up or printing. Small particles on the web or web splices will not be a worry anymore. For short or long runs RotaMesh® reduces downtime and saves you money.
No back-up screen required
In addition, as the screens last so long and are extremely unlikely to break during the printing process, there is no need to produce a back-up for longer jobs. This cuts your screen costs even further.
Re-use for repeat orders
With production runs often getting shorter as customers increasingly ask for just-in- time delivery, RotaMesh® gives you the option to re-use the same screen for repeat orders. The extremely stable hexagonal mesh can withstand being washed several times, which obviously saves you the time and money that would be required to make a new screen each time.

Quick start with the RSI®
To make a quick start, every RSI® Pre-press system is delivered with a starters kit. This kit includes items like chemical tanks, chemicals, a spray gun, support blocks for screens and a balloon set.
Iridium - digital engraving
imaging using Iridium offers the most cost and time savings. Iridium eliminates a substantial part of the screen making process. The Iridium can easily be integrated into the existing workflow and engraves images on to RotaMesh® in a one-step dry and fully digital process. With the shortest possible time-to-press and perfect reproducibility.
