DLE is primarily used in
flexographic printing plate production, where precision and repeatability are crucial.

LAMS and Mechanical Techniques
The
LAMS system (Laser Ablation Mask System), while effective for
photopolymers, is
not suitable for elastomers. Therefore, different approaches are used in elastomer engraving.
Mechanical methods—such as milling—are also possible, but due to
lower precision and
higher risk of damaging the elastic surface, they are less common among professional elastomer engraving facilities.

printing plate production. Their structure allows
multiple impressions without distortion and provides
excellent resistance to solvent-based inks.

more resistant to aggressive solvent inks.
